Finally, after a long wait the new generation Hyundai Santro 2018 has been officially unveiled. The car has retained its iconic tall boy design which attracted a lot of customers back then. The new Santro hosts bunch of new features with all new engine.

The Hyundai Santro will be slotted between the Hyundai Eon and the Grand i10. The car has retained its old but that doesn’t change the fact that everything about this car is totally new, the Hyundai Santro will be offered with host of modern features like touchscreen infotainment system and an automatic or manual transmission.


Just like the all new exteriors of the Hyundai Santro, the interiors has been equally changed. The new Hyundai Santro will be coming with quality dual tone beige and black interiors which Hyundai is known for. The colour scheme stretched to the back seats as well and with that tall boy design the car has ample headroom plus decent legroom at the rear seats. The new Hyundai Santro has been set up for five but as we all know only 4 can sit comfortably.


The new Hyundai Santro comes with all the features we need in 2018 for a budget segment car and Hyundai has offered almost everything in this car. One of the biggest plus points of the features are the rear a/c vents which is first in the segment and on top of that the car also gets a 7 inch infotainment system, of which both are considered to be premium features. The infotainment system will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which will definitely be attracting a lot of young customers.

Now talking about the engine, let’s talk about the fuel efficiency first, here the new Hyundai Santro is said to have a figure of 20.3 kmpl on the petrol only version. The engine offered here is a 4-cylinder 1.1L petrol unit which punches out 68 Horses at 5500 rpm and 99 Nm at 4500 rpm. The new Hyundai Santro sports a 5 Speed manual or and automatic transmission.


The new Hyundai Santro will be launched on October 23, 2018 but the bookings will start from October 10, 2018 exclusively online here.  
The booking amount on the new Santro will be Rs 11,100 and the introductory prices at the time of launch will only be applicable to the first 50,000 bookings. The new Santro is expected to be offered in at least five variants at an extremely aggressive starting price. The new Santro will be taking on the likes of Renault Kwid, Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Tata Tiago and rest in the segment.
