There are three different classes being compact, mid-size, and full-size making up all of the SUVs on the streets and market. Through common knowledge, smaller and lighter vehicles get better gas mileage than heavier and bigger cars. In the case of a compact SUV, the Toyota RAV4, stands out of the bunch in getting an average of 22 city miles per gallon and 28 on the freeway. While still a very clear winner, there are several runner ups that still get extremely close gas mileage in the Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot. Next on the list is mid-size SUVs where it is a tight competition between two different models with the only difference being one extra mile to the gallon on the freeway. The winner in this contest is the Toyota Venza, with the Dodge Journey being only a few steps behind in being the best.

The first Nissan van I ever bought (more than 25 years ago) was chosed because Nissan was the only company that would give me an on-road price. Other manufacturers wanted to charge extra for paint, a radio, even a passenger seat! Things have moved on but they still offer the best deals and I am still buying them although we now have a fleet rather than a single van.

A friend of mine had an accident in June of this year in Manchester. A car in front of his braked hard just before a roundabout and he hit the back of it. Unluckily, there was a policeman standing only fifty yards away who witnessed it and I suspect he was looking out for accidents like this, there has been a big spate of fraudulent ones recently with people staging collisions then putting in huge claims for alleged whiplash injury.

Anyway, to cut a long story short my friend was uninsured, because he simply couldn’t afford the premium that UK insurers charge for young drivers like him. He was fined 200 UK pounds, was banned from driving for six months and lost his job as a result. The court case with the owner of the car he hit is still dragging on and his legal costs alone are more than £2,000 which is pretty much all he has in the world. Drive without insurance? No thanks.

The review is good enough. In addition to the above info i would like to add that, 2011 Cayenne is available in base, S, Tiptronic, S hybrid, and Turbo trim levels.
