Cadillac is offering some of the performance elements of its V-series product line on standard 2012 CTS models through the new Touring Package Sedan, Coupe and Wagon starting at $2,065.

It’s a given that the luxury cars contain high technology, but the finest must have something that cannot appear on the specification chart: expertise. Engineers working on the all-new Cadillac ATS, which begins production in 2012, were handpicked based on their roles in developing other top Cadillacs – and how well they can drive and evaluate cars on grueling test tracks.
Their shared goal: Create a new compact sport sedan challenging the best cars in that category. Most of the engineers on the team also developed Cadillac’s CTS and V-Series high-performance models, and have the highest level of training as test drivers. The Cadillac SRX, a fast-rising favorite among midsize luxury crossovers, receives a significant upgrade for the 2012 model year starting in August. A new 308-horsepower 3.6L direct-injected V6 engine gives SRX the most standard power in its class, and includes a driver-selectable ECO Mode for optimal fuel economy.
While gaining substantial horsepower, the new LFX engine delivers comparable fuel economy to predecessor engines because of its more mass-efficient design and the ECO Mode, which sets revised shift points in the 6-speed HydraMatic automatic transmission to maximize economy. Continue Reading →
The Cadillac Escalade ranked first among all models in AutoPacific’s 2011 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards and topped the Luxury SUV segment for the fourth consecutive year.
The ranking is based on more than 68,000 surveys completed by owners of new cars and light trucks in the United States in the first quarter this year.
